The San Francisco Enterprise GIS Program (SFGIS) is pleased to announce that version 1.5.0 of the
Enterprise Addressing System (EAS) is now available internally to all City and County of San Francisco
staff for production use.
This version of the EAS features:
the ability to capture a complete landmark name for a given numbered thoroughfare address, which will result in a richer address data set
the ability to modify an address' ZIP code, which will improve the quality of the EAS addresses
a handful of miscellaneous bug fixes and minor feature enhancements, for example:
Search the EAS for all complete landmark names that contain “san fran”: http://eas.sfgov.org/?query=san%20fran
